List of ultrashort pulse laser mirrors

Short delivery time with stock sales! All items available for sale from one piece.

The ultra-short pulse laser mirror is designed to achieve a high laser-induced damage threshold, providing a reflectivity of over 99% when exposed to ultra-short pulse laser incidence. This mirror counters the temporal broadening and compression effects of pulse width by minimizing group delay dispersion (GDD) and group velocity dispersion (GVD) for specific wavelength ranges. The minimization of GDD and GVD is achieved by carefully selecting the coating layers to ensure that high reflectivity and low GDD are attained simultaneously. ■ For more details, please check the official website of Edmund Optics via the link below.

Standard high-output laser mirror

High-performance coating for high-power lasers - optics

Spectral Optics' laser mirrors have a reflectivity of over 99.5% for visible and near-infrared wavelengths. Common laser wavelengths include YAG, helium-neon, argon, and diode lasers as standard. The mirrors are suitable for both beam steering and applications within resonators. For wavelengths shorter than 355nm, Spectral Optics carefully develops coating designs, coating materials, and substrates to provide mirrors with low absorption and high damage thresholds at specific wavelengths. Please consult us regarding the required peak power, pulse width, pulse repetition rate, and expected intensity distribution. The reflectivity of over 99.5% applies to wavelengths of 248nm and longer, while for shorter wavelengths, it is over 97%.

2-wavelength laser mirror

Hybrid laser mirror with high reflectivity and durability for two wavelengths.

Spectral Optics supplies hybrid laser mirrors with high reflectivity and durability for both wavelengths. They are used for alignment in systems utilizing Nd:YAG at either 0° or 45° incidence, YAG wavelength and its second harmonic, as well as visible wavelength tracer lasers. The dual-wavelength (1064nm & 532nm) YAG laser mirrors have a reflectivity of R > 99.0% for both wavelengths. They also provide tracer laser options for either the HeNe wavelength of 633nm or the diode laser wavelength of 670nm. The reflectivity is > 99.0% at the laser wavelength and > 80.0% at the tracer wavelength. Considerations for damage thresholds for visible and near-infrared wavelengths are the same as for standard mirrors. Please consult us for high-power applications in the ultraviolet range.

IBS coat optical element ::::: Low loss ultra-high reflection laser mirror

Achieves R>99.998% with IBS coating.

Manufacturer: OPTOMAN (Lithuania) Why use standard electron beam evaporated mirrors when you can obtain IBS mirrors with a reflectivity of >99.95% at almost the same price? Cost-effective IBS-coated dielectric mirrors perform well in all laser applications where losses at specific wavelengths and angles of incidence are critical. Compared to other coatings such as electron beam or ion-assisted deposition, IBS-coated mirrors are denser, more robust, and exhibit lower scattering and absorption. To prevent thermal absorption effects, they are coated on high-purity fused silica substrates. OPTOMAN's IBS-coated mirrors can achieve specifications of maximum reflectivity >99.998% and total losses (absorption, scattering, transmission) <15ppm at specific wavelengths and angles of incidence. They are coated on high-purity quartz glass (flat, spherical, or wedge-shaped) and polished to a roughness of <2Å (0.2nm). The dense coating, close to bulk density, shows very little performance degradation due to environmental factors such as temperature and humidity. Complex coatings with very high reflectivity can achieve R>99.95% for GTI laser mirrors and Tp/Ts >10000:1 for thin-film polarizers.
